Thanks for staging the property at Lindisfarne. As a result of your work, the difference (I feel) the furniture made to the home was amazing! The home looked good when it was empty but with the furniture, made it look sensational!!
It’s hard to put a dollar figure on it but I would guestimate that the vendor may have secured an extra $20,000-$30,000 due your staging.

After a discussion and initial appraisal on a small apartment in Davey Street, Hobart a recommendation was put forward to the Vendor to “dress” the property for marketing. The apartment was a small open plan, one bedroom space measuring some 6 squares. From previous feedback in the marketplace many prospective purchaser’s were unable to “visualise” furnishings in a vacant property. This pint sized pristine property could not afford any negatives. Realising this would be a difficult task to overcome, I recommended Adam and Donielle from Shift By Design. The finished product left the Vendor speechless! A new company known as SHIFT BY DESIGN has started up (initially just in Hobart) to provide an independent written report on how a vendor can increase the value of their home in preparation for sale – from a ‘consumer’s viewpoint’. It is often hard for vendors and agents to be totally objective and impartial about what could be done internally and externally to improve the buyer’s all important ‘first impressions’. Adam Luttrell has been in contact with many REIT members in the Hobart area and many are keen to utilise his services. He has bought and sold (and renovated) a number of homes and has completed courses from Canada and the U.K from specialists in this all important field.
